NESBIT, Marion of Waldo, Ark. was born April 9, 1844 in Newton Co., Ga.
the son of William Nesbit who lived at Covington Indiana. Madien name
of subject's mother was Nancy Nolan, dau. of Stephen Nolan, who lived in
Alabama. Subject was educated in Ala., was a farmer, Democrat and
Missionary Baptist. Served with Newton's Company, Thompson's Regt.,
Tapin's Brigade, Churchill's Div., entered service 1864, served till
close of war. Married Mary Smith, dau of William Smith of Mt. Holly,
Ark., on Aug. 18, 1866.
