|Bio and Links|
|Initially, I joined FAG in order to create memorials for family members. Later, in order to assist others in finding their family memorials, I began adding memorials for apparently unrelated individuals. In doing this, I sometimes find memorials for family members I had not pursued.|
Too often I find what I think is a family memorial, but there is no information in the Bio Section on the memorial to convince me it is the correct individual. When possible, I add pertinent information to memorial Bios and add links to found family members. This is extremely helpful in determining if the memorial is the one for which someone may be searching. With the information they find here, I hope they are encouraged to try Ancestry.com in order to collect documentation and expand their family.
I have spent over 3 decades researching my family history and appreciate how challenging it can be to find information. It is hoped that in creating these memorials, I will make it a little easier for those in search of their family members.
If you are related to any of my family individuals for whom I control their memorial, please feel free to contact me so we may share information.
1) My photos may be used ONLY with my permission. Please ask!
2) When requesting an update to a memorial, you MUST use the "Edit" tab located in the upper right-corner of the memorial.
3) One (1) Photo Request per memorial.
Surnames on my direct line include:

|Laurie S Tokarsky||I'm Back - Finally !|
I am back, after completely both the Siloam Cem. in Elton, NY & Rawson Cem. in Lyndon, NY.
In fact, I just completed Rawson Cemetery in time, last Tuesday. We now, this Tuesday are in a blizzard of lots of snow & very cold temps.
Both Cemeteries are in fields & both way out into almost no man's land. And I thought that I live in the boonies here !! Both towns probably do not even have a cell tower nearby !!! YEKS !!
I don't know how long this massive storm is going to be, it may last into tomorrow. I was snowed out of both of my jobs; Southtowns YMCA & Town of Hamburg Senior Services. I think that I told you that is why I can only be in the cemeteries on Sundays, I did bend that a little, as I tried & succeeded on going out after Hamburg. Both places I teach aquatics - AguaFit, Strength & Stretch, and now also teaching the beginning stages of swimming to both infants & toddlers. So I teach from ages 6 months to 90 + of age !!
I believe that I took all the photos at Mount Prospect Cem, and that I have to go back to check where I left off ( going backwards in my phot files, I believe that I have taken almost 10,000 photos this year YEKS again !)
I had left off going backwards in July, 2014 & then go back to June, 2014. This is where most of the photos are & is very possible where the photos are in this now large collection. This will be accomplished shortly, I hope, especially if this weather continues !! I just need to know where I had left off, which I am looking for now.
I have so many more cemeteries to work on this coming year. But Mount Prospect is a priority to finish !!!
Hope that you are well & that both you & your family are well & enjoy Thanksgiving together !!!
Be writing to you very soon.
Oh, PS. There a number of graves that do not have gravestones to them, I don't know why, but there are. Just so that you know. Also some gravestones have been vandalized & turned outside down.
Sincerely, Laurie S Tokarsky # 47375347

Thanks J.G. I appreciate the reply message. I just created my account today (been linking to F.A.G. for awhile in my ancestry.com tree). I've updated my bio with a few items.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
