Cleveland Calvary Request
Just a friendly mid June reminder that we need plot info to fill your Cleveland Calvary request(s). We have less than 500 requests left but plot info for only 6% of those, having already filled the rest with plot info. We can't ask for plot info for more than 3 requests per week. Please call (216) 641-7575 and obtain plot info. We'd really appreciate it and will fill your request(s) soon after getting plot info. Thank you!

Calvary
You've put in request(s) at Calvary in Cleveland. Several of us are working to clear the more than 750 requests. With 400,000 burials and 300 acres, if you could please obtain plot information AND a plot map one of us will be more likely to be able to fill the request, as the office will only give out a little information to each person. The office phone number is (216) 641-7575. On my page I have the plot maps listed that we already have, we don't need more copies of those.

You can try to tell them you'll be visiting when they're closed, etc. So far everyone who's called has been successful in having a map mailed, a few e-mailed. If you get one let me know and I'll give you my e-mail address. With thousands of graves per section a plot map would be VERY helpful. Without plot information it's basically impossible.

Thanks!

RE: Robidoux Dates
Ok I have researched Joseph and the family. Joseph had 6 brothers , plus 2 nephews, and his son Joseph E who worked with him. his brothers Francois was born 1788, Isidore 1794 Antoine 1794 louis 1796 Michael 1798 and one brother who died young. The dates may be off some is what the record show on some. The 7 memorials I have are Antoine 1791--1860 is his brother, no record of Elizabeth 1820-1904 yet, Francis (Francois)1785-1857 his brother, Angelique, his 2nd wife 1793-1857 their first child son Jules C 1816-1873, records showing him being born 8-13-1814.Jules C had a son who was Louis 1855-1923. No record of 60 year old Mitchell yet 1795-1855 could he me a brother that was named Michael? I will keep researching and follow up with more news..Theresa

Maassen Family Photos
Hello,
I've got good news, and bad news.

First the good - We were able to take the photo of Hermina J. Maassen this afternoon. We also got the stone of Harriet B. and Rev. John H. Maassen next to her.

Now the bad... there are no stones for Rev. Herman & Janetta his wife.. but we did take a photo of the family plot showing their final resting places.

For Herman and Janetta, I left a flower explaining there is not a stone, but did post the "grassy" photo for you.

It was a pleasure finding your family.

Jacksons in Miller Cemetery
Dear Carolin,
I'm sorry that I could not find Jeremiah and Paulina Jackson in Miller Cemetery. However, the cemetery is filled with stones that can no longer be read. There are several other Jacksons, though, and if any of these are of interest to you I'd be happy to photograph them. Happy hunting!
