I have lived in northeast Ohio all of my life. I enjoy researching the history of my family and would like to help others locate and photograph grave markers to add to their family research. If anyone would like me to transfer management of a memorial let me know.|

Bev, By a looking for one relative I came across another, that has done the elusive relative thing. I found my Great Great Grandmother. She had remarried and her children, my ancestors, last name was spelled wrong on the census. But low and behold you have entered her on your record. If you could please let me transfer her to my keeping I would be grateful. If by any chance you are related let me know.

No problem. I try to give all 3 weeks or so to incorporate bio/obit info. I hate to lose that info. Thanks again for all you do to maintain this site!

Ms. Sexton - Thank you so much for your generosity in the transfers of the memorials for Robert F Price and his wife, Lorraine Mitchell Price. I really appreciate being able to bring them back into our family with their other relatives!

WV death records often given a location and not the name of the actual cemetery. Brushy Flat, Renick, Williamsburg, etc are all ones I've seen for cemeteries which were actually New Ellis, Morningside, etc. My memorials show the name of the cemetery as used when I created the memorial.

I found several death certs for persons with known and verified by photo stones at New Ellis Chapel on Brushy Flat Road... and there ain't much else on Brushy Flat Road!!
So this must be an old or local name for it.
As cross check found a relative that attended a funeral at "Brushy Flat Cem" and they too confirmed New Ellis Chapel was the church by the little grave yard looking at the New Ellis Cemetery photo and the satellite view.
One cemetery in Greenbrier County has five known names!! Drives us batty some days.
I asked FG to merge your graves into New Ellis and rename name New Ellis as New Ellis Chapel Cem (aka Brushy Flat Cem).
Cross check dates, that Elijah might be another person as I recall, before you delete.
You can also TRANSFER graves.
Go to EDIT > burial Location > type in NEW ELLIS and select WV Greenbrier search then accept the new location. Boom grave transferred, all links, pics, etc. go with it.
Thanks for the reply.
Where is Brush Flat Cemetery in the Renick area?
Have any more specific directions?
