What can I say ... I'm a cemetery crawler! I am also a very active genealogist and family history buff. I have grown passionate about FAG and try to keep it as historically accurate as possible.|
Many of my memorials are my family but I have also created a number of memorials for a cemetery close to where I live. I also travel a lot and anytime I am in a cemetery I look for interesting or endangered memorials to document. I especially try to document children. In addition I have recently accepted responsibility for a number of memorials created by Fred King. He created almost 70,000 memorials during the more than 10 years he was an active contributor. Fortunately before he died he transferred most of his memorials to a friend and she is trying to find people to share in their maintenance.
To submit a change or transfer request please click on the "Edit" tab (upper right corner) on the memorial followed by clicking "Suggest a correction or provide additional information".
If you send me change requests please let me know how you know the information - what are your sources? If you request a transfer please tell me your relationship. I will consider all non-FAG guideline transfer requests but may not honor them if I don't feel it is in the best interest of the memorial. I will honor transfer requests that meet the FAG guideline requests unless I am also closely related.
PLEASE do not post obituaries to my memorials. See this FAQ concerning obituaries on FAG. If you wish to have them added to the memorial as a bio then please rephrase them redacting all references to living people and submit them to me as an Edit (see above). Also let me know the source of the information and where a complete obituary can be found. I reserve the right to rephrase and redact what you submit.

She is supposed to be at the Ancient Cemetery "Meeting House Hill". That is all I know. They apparently are together.

She and her husband are supposed to be at the cemetery, but I was unable to find their graves. It is a very old cemetery that includes British royalty crypts.

I made the links.

Helping those who live so far away from their deceased loved ones is not only a selfless act of kindness on your part, it is a cherished and priceless gift that you give to us. Your time and effort are much appreciated; you're an asset to this web site!

Thank you so much for the transfer, and also for the suggestion about checking out the other cemetery. It's people such as yourself that make the Find A Grave experience a truly meaningful and rewarding one. Your help is sincerely appreciated, glenda!

Are you related? I am descended from Silas Hubbard thru daughter Catharine Hubbard Harlan, her dau Emily Harlan Wiant, her dau Ida Wiant Chamberlain, to my dad Francis M. Chamberlain. So have many relatives buried at Union Chapel and it has been nice to be able to get gravestone photos and add all to this website to share with others. I have to give credit to a lot of others who have worked at finding the information. We met for lunch this week in Des Moines with my dad's cousin Rex Wiant, now 83, who has done a lot of research.
|sherry cain||RE: Mary Ray|
Mary M. Ray is buried in Hopetown cemetery without a head stone, I called and it was listed as no head stone. Her husband Henry C. Ray and son Clay has a head stone. Mary also has two grandchildren James and Marie Speakman. These children are Ella Nora Ray Speakman and Vinton Speakman's children. They did not live long, died as babies.So now I know where my grandmother Mary(May)Ray is buried, thanks.
Thanks for the transfer, but especially for all you do for this site! It is so helpful to be able to find those in other states, sometimes in places we wouldn't even think to look.
