|I am researching my family name DeAlbar. My family settled in Alta CA in the mid 1800's. Manuel DeAlbar was well known in the area. He worked for his Uncle Charles Thomas as head rider for many years and later as an interpreter for the courts. Also researching the Shand/Vaughan side of my family. Many Vaughan's settled in CA during the Gold rush era, traveling from Hardin MO.|
