Sorry, that memorial was not created by me, I only added the picture of the monument. Contact Barb Farghum.

Re: Charles Luke
Perhaps you can help me, being that you live near Chippewa Falls.
I have tried for sometime to locate Vene's father Charles Luke, the last that I have found is that he was living with his son Edelbert in the 1910 US Census age 63, Birth Year: abt 1847
Birthplace: Wisconsin, Home in Ruby, Chippewa, Wisconsin, he stated that he was widowed ( more likely divorced.
I have tried calling several funeral homes and the local libraries, with no success.
Sincerely John

Re: Luke's
Thank you for your inquiry. I am not directly related to the Luke's.
Emma Emilia (Glidden)(Luke) Beedle was Henry Sylvenus 'Vene" Luke's mother.
Emma's second husband was Charles Walter Beedle, his son from his 1st marriage was John 'Jack' Beedle.
Jack married my Aunt Floye Walters.
Sincerely John

RE: Orange Scott McMahan
Hi ladysmith,

Orange was a half-brother of my great-grandfather, Joseph. Their father, Thomas, was married twice. Joseph's mother was Thomas' first wife, Ruth Ann Stamets. Ruth passed when Joseph was abt 9 yrs old and Thomas quickly remarried. His second wife, Orange Scott's mother, was Sarah Frances Grigsby.

Wondering if you might know anything about Patricia McMahan? She was born in OK 24Feb1903, lived in KS for abt 10 yrs then moved to Los Angeles, CA where she died 11Jan1948. Mother's maiden name was Crawford and occupation was stenographer. Does not appear to have ever married.

Recently, I was contacted by a McMahan cousin asking me if I knew anything abt Patricia and "Red" McMahan. Patricia was a very close friend of Rilla (McMahan) Neary; Rilla named her dtr after Patricia. It is this dtr that contacted me. Naturally, she is curious abt Patricia since she passed before this dtr was one yr old. Anything you may know about Patricia would be very appreciated by her. Thanks again, M.E.

Hi Judy, I was just going over some of my submissions on Find A Grave and seen messages from you that I don't think I had seen before. Did you get all of your questions answered? Cheryl

Yes I did take one of Josephine but there was a anthill in the pick that I missed somehow...I will ride out and correct the pic and post tomorrow.
