You're very welcome. Yes, the cemetery usually replaces the original stone with a new one when the second person is buried. A few times they have left the original and placed a new one next to it with only the second person's name on it.

Photo for Hattie Wallace grave
Hello! I fulfilled your request for a photo of the grave of Hattie Wallace, buried in Milton-Freewater, OR. I cannot answer whether she is the Hattie Wallace you are looking for, but I thought it might help you to know that several other Wallace graves are right with hers. I photographed them all and attached to their existing memorials. The people who set up the memorials have included some information about them that might help you to identify Hattie. Unfortunately, there is no indication if Hattie was married. She is buried with Ella Wallace, Anna V. Wallace, Oscar T. Wallace, and P.M. Wallace. You should be able to find their memorials by searching the same cemetery. Hope this helps!

RE: Opal Lynch
I guess that we are both in luck. The headstone has been finished. By the way, I did a little photoshopping and included an inset at the top right of the picture. Often, something is done on the back side of the headstone, and in this case, it is a wonderful tribute to her years of teaching. That was very thoughtful. If you would like to have the separate photos, I can forward them to you.
