|I am a mixture of Dodder, Wightman, Given, Davis, Judson, Moody, Venos, Utter, Lasley, Byers, English, Green. Michiganian from a few generations back on most sides, except John William Davis (Canada- 1918ish AWL in CA Army- may have changed name) and Venos (from an island in Greece imm 1905ish)definitely changed name- no one alive knows what it was. |
I am relatively new to this ancestry stuff and find it most interesting and addictive. There will be no empty nest syndrome for me, whenever that may happen, I think I will be pretty busy. haha.

|newsoul||George and Eveline Moody|
Hello from snowy west Michigan!
It appears I have hit a new jackpot in finding another pair of great x3 grand parents. I see the mention on Eveline's memorial of two daughters. There were actually three, and they lived in Grand Blanc area. Lucy was the third, and you will see that I've linked her to her parents. She married a Linton, and the Linton line is solid down from there to my mother.
(Sorry about the double send, my little one was "helping" me at the time.)

I've just added some Moodys to Find A Grave who are buried in Northview Cemetery, Dearborn, Michigan. I'm using the old cemetery records. Some have scanty information. You may want to take a look since you are researching the Moody family.
Glad to see your message. Sorry I am so late to respond. Please contact me. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.

I am also doing cemeteries but only those related except for Peetz Cemetery which I have done completely. As you said it can be addictive, I drove 3000 miles through Texas for the purpose of cemetery photos and am going back this spring.
Thanks very much for the photo. Your caption says Isabore Spencer, so were you unable to locate Charles at West Burlington cemetery? Thanks for your help. Jody

Thanks for the photo! I have no idea where his wife, Rose is buried, did you happen to see her grave there too?

I can't thank you enough for the picture of my grandmothers headstone - I will most likely never get to Michigan to see it and at least I know what it looks like.
Thank you very much for the photo. Judy
|Clinton Rodgers||RE: Rich Twp Cemetery|
Ok, I will remove the request. I was not sure they were buried there, but was hoping! Winnie French's family, the Sparks' and Rodgers' are buried there.
Thanks so much,
