I became interested in genealogy around 2008 when my mom told me I was kin to just about everyone in Clarke County, MS. After doing some research, she's about right.|
My paternal line includes Perkins, Sykes, and Cook. My maternal line includes Taylor, Chandler, Ivey/Ivy.
I will transfer graves over to you; however, if I'm related to them the only way I'll transfer the grave is if you're closer in relation.
With the exception of newer burials, those I carelessly overlooked or unknown graves, I have photos of all burials in the following cemeteries:
Quitman, Stonewall, Pachuta, Cooper's Chapel, East Pleasant Grove, McGowan's Chapel, Harmony, Pleasant Hill, Old Pleasant Hill, Souenlovie, Old Souenlovie, King's, and Covington. I will add burials to this site when time allows.

I stopped by Old Souenlovie cemetery yesterday on the way home to Birmingham. Shadrick is supposed to be buried next to wesley and his son. I don't have anything on their parents but I do have alot on all the sibilings. Before they were in Clarke County, They were in Coffee County, Alabama. Let me know if you ever need any info and thank you for posting Josiah Bradley baby picture. His father died from his wounds at camp Morton during the war and is buried in Indiana.

Thanks so much for taking your time FROM genealogy to help all of us who can't travel to find ours. Not closely related to me, but I have so many in my tree, that I'm curious about, I take time to "look" for them. All I had were birthdays of these persons, and was glad to find deaths and where they were buried. Mary Azzelia Bounds Martin (1897) and James L "Jim" Harwell (1887), were parents of James E(lmo)"Jim" Harwell, Mary Elizabeth Harwell, Harold Eugene Harwell, Gladys Pearl Harwell Cook, Martin Carlton Harwell (thsnks for the obit), and Barbara Harwell Cook. (This is a just-in-case they are around there also.) Bounds was my mom's maiden name. -- Noveda Ashby Metzger
