Thank you so much for trying to find his headstone. Because someone had transcribed his headstone at one time, which gave us his age, there had been a headstone at one time. But time has a way of distroying things sometimes. I really appreciate your effort. grins...
|Charles Burkhardt||St John's Cemetery - Frederick J Burkhardt|
At St. John's Cemetery, Miltonsburg, Monroe Co., OH, you have a Frederick J. Burkhardt and wife Margaret Ottilia Tombstone Photo.
Frederick J Burkhardt
Birth: Mar. 25, 1807, Germany
Death: Nov. 11, 1894, Malaga, Monroe County, Ohio, USA
Margaret Ottelia Burkhardt
Birth: Mar. 20, 1809, Germany
Death: Jul. 11, 1873, Malaga,Monroe County,Ohio, USA
Frederick J Burkhardt (1807 - 1894)
Note: Margaret's husband Frederick is on the other side of the stone.
I suspect this is not the tombstone for them.
I believe the tombstone you have posted is for another Frederick J Burkhart (Not Burkhardt):
1 Frederick Jacob Burkhart 1822 - 1880
.+Margaret (Schaadt) Schott 1829 - 1882
While I believe Frederick J Burkhart and wife Ottilia (that matches your data) are buried in St John's cemetery, I have not been able to identify their tombstones as what might be them, the tombstones are not clear enough to make a positive match.
I believe your match is not correct - maybe you could add some thoughts.
Thanks Charlie B
