Possibly wrong Harvey J Williams
Hi David,

I am wondering where you got your information and which grave you are talking about on the Rev Harvey J Williams Find-A-Grave page. I am Harvey's daughter, and he was a minister, and he was born on Sept 14, 1927 and passed on Feb 12, 2014, but he was never ever married to whomever is mentioned on the page, nor did he and Mom ever live in GA. He was married to my wonderful mother, Mildred Emmalee Towns Williams for over 51 years. She passed in 2004. Just curious because it's hard to believe that another Harvey J Williams, whom was a minister and born on Dad's birthday and passed on Dad's rebirth (death) day would be buried at Woodlawn.

Could you give me more info on this other Harvey? That is just bizarre that they both would be over there. On the day of Dad's funeral and during his visitation there was no other Harvey Williams there. I am sure I would have heard about it.

Again, just curious, but please make sure your information is accurate. If this is referring to my dad, then it is not him. Mom and Dad were together their entire adult lives and for as long as she lived, and are together again in the afterlife now that he is gone, too, I am sure.

Thanks.

Their faithful daughter,

Donna

P.S. And I can post a picture of their gravesite and headstone but I do not want it going with this Harvey J Williams, because this page is not about my dad (and mom). Again, thanks...

Nancy Cook Babb
She was younger than her husband. She Probably married again. I found the marriage record at the historical society in Henry Co Ga. I was chasing my grandfather Abner Babb and one of the Abners had gone to Henry County. Robert E Babb's records are in Laurens county library or were there in 1991. They were notebooks of Information he had collected for years on the Babb Family. Turns out that the birth year for my abner Babb was off 2 years in the family bible and I chased about 30 abner babbs before finding the right one. Sara Nash had a lot of information on the Babbs woods and Nash's . Sara nash was in the dar and She did a lot of research in and around the Laurens county area. Shes is the one that knew about Martin Mahaffey coming into port in Charleston and she had the minutes on the records for his road construction going on in NC. I always wondered if he traveled from nC to Charleston on boat or if he came over on the ship. Since i have no reason to believe he is a direct line i have not pursued the information on the Mahaffey Family. I was looking at it as Possible maiden name for Joseph's wife but found nothing other than their daughter married mahaffey and they had a daughter they named after Grandmother Jeanette Kellett. who then married the fleming or Flemon Hatcher and she inherited from Joseph kellett's will and signed off on a Land transaction to sell land. She apparently inherited through Mary Kellett wife of Martin Mahaffey Sr.

Babb-Kellett
Too much confusion on find-a-grave information for individuals buried in Babb-Kellett Family Cemetery located in Fountain Inn, Laurens County, South Carolina, USA. Jeanette Jane Mahaffey and Martin Hugh Mahaffey were more likely brother and sister not husband and wife. And I doubt Martin Hugh Mahaffey Sr married his daughter's daughter Mary Kellett. Need some serious research done here on the true nature of family relationships of the Babbs', Kelletts', and Mahaffeys'.
