Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. I first became interested in genealogy when I was a pastor in Elizabeth, IL. I had a parishioner in the second congregation that I served who asked about my family and when I said that I didn't know much about where they came from, she started doing the research and has gotten me interested in my family's history as well. I enjoy walking through cemeteries and I have been blessed to find a few living relatives along the way.

RE: Richard Cox's Mom
re your message: Do you know where his mother, Elizabeth is buried? We have been looking for the grave of her husband John Dow and we haven't had any luck. Do you know any more information?

Which Richard Cox are you referring to and I will check my records. ~Richard Manuel Cox ?

If so I have his parents as:
Josiah Cox and Elizabeth Matilda 'Mollie' Graves

There is a John Dow Find A Grave Memorial #90485146 that has records attached to it. You may find this useful. With just a quick glance this looks to be the John Dow you are looking for.

FYI: Richard Manual Cox is not related to our Cox line. He ties into my family lines by way of his wife Temperance Sylathia 'Tempie' King.

Hope this helps a little!

RE: Dennis Schaffner
No problem! Denny's grave was pretty much lined up with my brother's, just 2-3 rows back.
I finally got to fulfill a photo request!

RE: John Hanna's Memorial
I don't recall why I left flowers. I do have Dow relations. I do quite a bit of research for people but I usually only leave flowers on either my memorials or relations. ???

Thanks again for your latest great job of photographing the various Harrolles.

They are all cousins of my wife.
