Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am old enough to be a Vietnam vet, but too poor to be retired. I got into genealogy too late to ask the ancestors (all buried), so I am very thankful for sites like Find A Grave and the rest of the internet. I hope that I can make a contribution to others who are searching. I have entered a number of lists for cemeteries. If anyone would like a memorial transfered, just say so.

RE: Meurer Headstones

Thank you for your kind words. I was at the cemetery in the afternoon when the sun was behind all of these markers. I would suggest that you repost your requests and make a notation that the markers are facing east and the best time to photograph wound be early to mid-morning. Each of these markers had good relief for their age and would photograph beautifully on a fall morning. I would be happy to return and re-photograph if I lived in that area.

Happy researching, D. L.

RE: Marie Kuhnmuencch Memorial
This is the John and Mary Bettinger plot. Find A Grave Memorial# 154898445 I took the pictures last Nov.

Her tombstone is in the north west corner and the letters are facing west. I must not have looked on the back. Just a white tombstone facing east. This time I came from the west.

In my father family plots the babies were buried in the grandparent plot.

According to family members, she was not buried. I wanted to link her with her parents and siblings. I wrote that in her Bio. Thanks.

If you call Acacia Park Cemetery and Mausoleum at 773-625-7838 and:
1. Ask if your photo request person has a headstone / grave marker.
2. If there is a headstone / grave marker ask for the section, block, lot and grave number.
3. If you send that information to me, Susan (#48964989) I will go there and fulfill your photo request. Of course any other Find A Grave volunteer can also fulfill your request if you then add the headstone location information to your photo request page.
Good Luck.

RE: Elisha Hinks Headstone
You're welcome. The stone was a little weathered. I didn't happen upon the other Hinks you were looking for. I did photograph a couple Hinks lots and had photos a thought were a tad more legible than the photos that had been previously added, so I uploaded those to the memorials as well.
