 | RE: Peter Jacob Richards Sorry, I listed Charles R. Richards as Peter's brother-- That is an error- This was his 2 year old son. | | | Elaine Lindoo
 | RE: Peter Jacob Richards Well, this is interesting! I did not know Peter Richards was buried in West Aurora Cemetery. My husbands aunt was Susan E. Gierden Richards. Peter was a blacksmith here in Aurora. I have a picture of him in his blacksmith shop. Susan was born July 10, 1894 was married Nov 28 1912 and Died October 5 1972 in Aurora, Il. Her father was Joseph Gierden an mother Anna Tholl. She is buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Aurora and I am pretty sure Peter is there also. She married again and her name was Kienlen. She was married to Albert Kienlen. Susan and Peter has one son Charles R. Richards Born Oct 7, 1916 Died Oct 11 1918. I have the marriage license of Susan and Peter if you would like a copy. I just found the cemetery deed for Mt Olivet Cemetery. Peter J. Richards was buried there 4/1955. His brother Charles R. Richards was buried 10/12/18--Mary Concannon (Susan's sister) was buried 12/14/18, Joseph Gierden Jr. was buried 11/15/28 and Joseph Gierden 3/7/1930- and Anna Gierden (susan's mother) no date. Peter's marriage license shows His Mother as Mathilda Gek-- You had Eck. So I do not think the Peter Richards in West Aurora is related. I will check. I have been entering people in West Aurora Cemetery for the Cemetery., using cemetery records. I do not have any more on Peter's parents but will dig a little more. Elaine | | | Brenda Goldy
 | RE: Joseph Anthony--1762-1814 Hi Eileen,
I received this info from research my uncle had done. I don't see a source for the burial. The file just has info about his work as a silversmith. It also mentioned his birth place as RI. I have updated his birth and death places. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I'm his wife's 2nd cousin 6 times removed. If you find that he has been buried elsewhere, I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know.
Thanks,
Brenda | | | Jim Cox
