I'd be happy to transfer her memorial to you if you want. I added some of the info you sent but to do more, I would need DOD or Find A Grave memorial #s.
Regards,
Rich O'Keefe

I have made the transfer. Isn't finding bits and pieces of ones past ancestors fun?

I am not sure, but my main computer is in the shop. That is where I keep all my genealogy files. As soon as I get my computer up and running, I will check and get back to you.

RE: Johnson Cemetery
The Johnson Cemetery is on Marshall's Branch, which is right off route 805 (Elkhorn Creek) past 197, going toward Jenkins. when you turn onto Marshall's Branch, you will go a few miles, then it forks left or right. You want to turn right. it will turn a little, maybe a mile or two past the fork. The cemetery is up on the hill and is actually listed as Pembleton Johnson Cemetery. You can find it if you look on Googlemaps.com.

Keep in mind that Marshall's Branch is right on the Pike-Letcher County line. When it forks, the left fork is in Letcher County, and the right fork is in Pike.

Jane Marshall
Patricia,

I found the same information as you for the DAR. Another researcher contacted the DAR as the actual document has Villers typed in than Marshall written in as well. There is also a daughter listed on the DAR application for a date before Jane and William were married name Mary, who is also listed on William's will. Just thought you'd want to know since you were researching this. If you found any other evidence of Jane's confirmed last name let me know.
