|Donna Stewart||RE: Thank you!|
You are very welcome. Your grandpa was in the same part of the cemetery as my grandparents. Your research has helped me in the last year. Our families are very interconnected.
|Ron Woodward||Deep Creek Cemetery|
The record for this cemetery says that all the graves were moved in the 1960s to the Medical Lake Cemetery and that this former cemetery is abandoned. It mentioned that one headstone was left in the right-of-way next to the road, but without better information, I would have no idea how to even locate where the cemetery was located.

|Cindi T||John Roberson|
Jodi, In doing my research I was unable to find the name Roberson, John listed on the Rose Hill website. I did find Robertson CSA, John, with the date 8-23-1864.
I searched a couple of other resources and found this:
BIBB COUNTY, GA - CEMETERIES - Rose Hill Confederate Veterans
This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb
Archives by: Mrs. Addie P. Howell
CONFEDERATE SOLDIERS BURIED IN ROSE HILL CEMETERY
MACON, BIBB COUNTY, GEORGIA
There are reported to be 600 confederate graves in Rose Hill Cemetery. (Approx. 200 unmarked)
John Roberson, 31 Jul 1864
Co. F, 1st Co.
I also found this website that listed him as well:
Rose Hill Cemetery Transcriptions
Since I could not verify his burial through the Rose Hill database, I assume he was buried with the other Confederate Soldiers on Soldiers Hill. I am posting pictures of this area to his page. Please let me know if this is okay. Cindi
