I am the daughter of Bonnie Belle Platt West and Berry Eugene West. I was born and raised in Thatcher and Safford, Arizona. I graduated from Safford High School in 1967. I am the mother of five children and 11 grandchildren. My grandfather was Dr. William E. Platt. My family on both sides of my family were early Mormom pioneers. As a young man my grandfather Platt helped to build the St. George Temple. My grandmother traveled to Arizona and married Dr. Platt who was thirty years older than she was. He and Blanche had a second family and my mother was his last child and she was born when he was 72.

I currently live in Casa Grande AZ and work at Central Arizona College. I have a Master's in Education from NAU and a Bachelor of Arts from University of Phoenix. I am looking forward to retirement in the next few years when I can really work on geneology more.
