I use Google translate and I hope the translation is good!
I'm Nathalie Colin and this is my Mom Françoise COLSON sponsoring the grave of your uncle James. It is in Epinal cemetery. We are part of an association that sponsors the graves of fallen U.S. soldiers during WW2. We owe them a lot. This is Jocelyne Papelard-BRESCIA who created this association. We are almost 700 people to sponsor the graves of Epinal cemetery. Here are some pictures of the grave of your uncle.

Sharon, Thank you SO much for supplying a photo for this memorial. Being able to see something, anything, helps make this persons former existence more real. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

Hi Sharon - thanks so much for your uncle's military photo. I think you added it and designated it as a gravestone as it's icon is showing up that way. You need to change it so that a volunteer can claim it when they photograph the actual headstone in the cemetery in France (unless you have that one, too???). I was just in Normandy last May and the WWII cemeteries were very moving. Thanks, Janice

I see someone wrote to you, "They will edit a memorial page if you get no response. firstname.lastname@example.org." Did you try this?

Right, they may be understaffed, who knows, but surely the main thing is that it's a bureaucracy, so if we want anything done we have to keep after them. If they receive enough complaints, they'll do something. So keep writing them.

I agree that something needs to be done here. We need to contact the administration, if anyone knows how to do that.
Arigeni has a memorial that shows a James Gittings in Hancock Co. IL with the dates 1801-1935, making him 134 years old when he died. Yet the tombstone death year is clearly legible. He died in 1882.
This kind of carelessness suggests Arigeni may have fallen ill. How do we alert the Find A Grave administration?

I have also requested a transfer of my relativs and never got a response back after several attempts.
