Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy off & on since 1998. Some of the information came from work that was done by other relatives of mine and various records I have seen. Sometimes I gave more information then I got back. Some relatives wouldn't give me any information. My Dad's side wouldn't give any information. I have 6 first cousins. 4 blood and 2 adopted on my dad's side. I have never met any or talked to any. So I just leave them alone. I have way to much time on my hands. So I do Genealogy and Research. I am first Born. I am from Benjamin Frankin Cooke & George Harrison Davis Line. My sister is from Houston Joe Rhodes and George Harrison Davis Line. My youngest sister is from the Charles Lee Wood & Hazel Violet Parker & Samuel Matchett Line. Her Grandparents & Great Grandmother are still living.

RE: henderson davis
Gotcha. I understand. Henderson can be found on documents detailing the reformation of the Georgia Militia in 1864. He died abt. 1880. The last picture they have of him has "1877" written on the back, but nothing after that point.

I believe Indiana Davis' kin can help as well. I have not spoken to any of them in years, but I can try to find out if they have any information.

Henderson Wade Davis
How is it that you have Henderson Wade Davis dying in 1860 then having children in 1862? That is one seriously long gestation period.

Please fix the entry. He died in 1880.

Duplicate Memorial

In researching, I've found a duplicate for your Memorial# 66144222 for Mary Ann Patterson. I have submitted a name change to you as: Mary Ann Ellis PATTERSON Cheek. She had 2 middle names: Ann & Ellis. She married William Washington "Wiley" Cheek in 1873 at age 19.

The duplicate Memorial# 17441993 is in the same cemetery and is under her married name of CHEEK. There are pictures of her stone and another one with what appears as other family members.

Please work with the other Memorial holder to correct this, if you will.

Kind Regards,

55218597 Ella Maude DeVoll
Samuel Edward Hall is the wrong spouse. His spouse was Ella's sister Margarete "Maggie" Lorena Devoll. This can be verified by 1920 census showing the couple with their son Marvin Monroe Hall.

Ella Maude DeVoll was married to a Samuel E Hall b. 1891 in Illinois. This can be verified by the 1910 census showing the newlywed Ella and Samuel. Please remove Ella as wife if you can.

How did you find that he was cremated and the ashes scattered at sea? I found a death certificate issued for who I think is him in the Texas death index. The cert is for Chas. R Devall and although the first digit is illegible the rest is 6946. It gives the death date as 24 Oct 1931 in Franklin, Robertson, Texas.
