Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have had dealings with many on this site. There are those I have done work for and I have enjoyed that process greatly.
There are also those who have done work for me and to them I am ever grateful.
And I have met many distant relations with whom I have shared and received information and photos. Those dealings are priceless.
I guess I have followed my father's advice to "use your head for something besides a hat rack" least in this regard.

RE: Mabel Bauer
William, I will be glad to scan the newspaper clipping and send it to your email address if you wish. Just let me know.

Mabel Bauer
Hi, William,

Thank you for accepting the information in that old newspaper clipping about your cousin Mabel. Yes, either Aunt Kitty or perhaps her parents, Elijah Waring Lynd and Katharine Hickman Lynd, may have known Mabel in some capacity. It could be equally possible that one of the other members of the family knew her and the clipping found its way into Aunt Kitty's collection. It's fun to speculate!

To answer your question, I decided that if Mabel had a memorial already at Find A Grave, the manager of that memorial might like to have the info and I am glad that I was right in that regard. Additionally, I thought the clipping was quite interesting, since it contained comments that are a bit different from those one usually finds in an obituary.

Best regards,

East Salem Cem

Good morning.
You are very welcome for any pictures Myself or my mother Corina has taken in here.

Any info you can give on East Salem, We would love to have "because" there are tones of people with just stones there.
We have them listed as Unknown's.

Do you know by chance where we could get a old list of people who are resting there or even a old Obit.

RE: herbert foster
Hi William

No problem.

I think you will need to request the photo again as it is not showing now since I added the incorrect photo.

Hi William

I think you are right and it is the wrong grave. There is a duplicate entry in findagrave which show 2 h w fosters and one h foster in Hebuterne cemetery.

The CWGC site just shows an H foster and an HW foster.

I have amended the entry and added the photo to H Foster.

As findagrave entry did not have a grave ref I looked it up in the cemetery register and it looks like I selected the wrong one.

Sorry, and hopefully someone else will be visiting soon and take the photo for you. We will back in France at the beginning of October so will try and visit the cemetery again then,

Amalia Albert--St. John's German Catholic Cemetery
Hi, I was wondering if you have any further information about Amalia? She and 2 very young children are buried in the family plot of my gr gr grandfather's brother, and I'm trying to figure out how they're all related. Thanks.

RE: Magdalena Wenner - Mt. Washington Cemetery
William: When searching for obits and death records for Mt. Washington, I have added Wenner family members to the Walnut Hills (Cinti) cemetery & links. I didn't find the relationship to those in Mt. Washington, but possibly they are related.

RE: Magdalena Wenner - Mt. Washington Cemetery
William: You are welcome. I am sorry that I had to confirm that there is no marker for Magdalena. The other Wenners are not in the same area of the cemetery as Magdalena & the Steinmetz headstone. I'm happy to transfer, if they are related to your families.

William, There is a Katie Stevens ( 128182183) buried next the Birri graves. They are in a corner with no one around them. Just thought she might be related.

Magdalena Wenner - Mt. Washington Cemetery
William: Finally no chance of snow! I'm going to the cemetery tomorrow. The cemetery database is online: Magdalena is buried in Lot 597 but cemetery records reflect there is no inscription (no stone to photograph). While there, I'll photograph the other Wenners (looks like I already photographed #91875933) for you. within the cemetery & the lot/area where Magdalena is.
