RE: John Craig
Jill - I am not a relative of John Craig. If you would like the memorial, please use the EDIT option on the memorial to send me a request. This will send me a message with a link to the memorial. I do a LOT of entry into FIND-A-GRAVE, so it makes it difficult to find memorials without this information.

RE: Donald and Pat Tuite
I recently began helping my sister-in-law with search on her family. Pat's parents are her great grandparents.

Roseberry Craig etal
I'm researching the Craigs from PA who moved to OH and other places. I'm transcribing the Civil War diary of Robert B Craig, cousin of David Polk Craig who is Roseberry c's brother. The photo you posted of Roseberry interests me because I can see there are other people with him. Is David Polk Craig in that photo?

You're welcome Jill. I'm always honored to take photos of those that have served our country.

Cora Howell Wells
Thank you for the info on Cora Howell Wells. I linked her to her mother. Cora was the 4th great grandmother of my 2 oldest boys (their dad's side). I hadn't gotten beyond her in the family tree.

RE: William Craig
Hi Jill
I do not have much information in my personal records concerning this family. My connection is that 2 of my FERRELL ancestors married 2 CRAIG brothers.
Sorry I can't be more helpful :(

COWAN NUNGAZER OLIVER OPPENHEIMER Laurel Grove Cemetery

Dear Jill RODGERS,

I appreciate your help in "getting it right." John OLIVER (1809-1880) was initally buried in the lot of his deceased NUNGAZER in-laws, LGC Lot 346. Using the Laurel Grove Cemetery Keepers Book (LGC KB) abstract as a guide, I evidently mislabelled the photograph of his stone - I remember that it is not off to the right as you enter, where LGC Lot 346 is, but off to the left, where LGC Lot 2066 is. When I have an opportunity to return there, I'll confirm the stone's location (and lack of other stones). The LGC KBs recorded three burials in LGC Lot 2066 (as of the late 1930s):
Mrs. Julia OLIVER (Henrietta Julia Barnard NUNGAZER 1830-1900), who was predeceased by her husband and by her youngest daughter,
Mrs. Lena Ann OPPENHEIMER (Selena Ann OLIVER 1872-1896), and was survived by the next elder daughter,
Maggie O. COWAN (Maggie Pitch OLIVER 1864-1908).
The Laurel Grove Cemetery Keepers Books do not indicate the evident reburial of John OLIVER. Incidentally, there is a stone for Lena O. COWAN (1896-1984) - I've not finished the research to tie that one in. The widower OPPENHEIMER & his second wife are buried in LGC Lot 2175.

May God Bless You and Your Family,

Bob ><>
