Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and raised in the Klamath Basin, Oregon. I am so into family and I love each and everyone of them with all my heart. It doesnt matter if they are cousins, 2nd cousins, in-laws, etc....I am interested in their history as well. I have been researching family ancestors for the last 2 years. What intrigued me most about genealogy was when I saw all the information my Aunt Betty had found on the Skelton/Swadley/Brown/Allred families. She has sense past the task onto me and I am having so much fun finding new and/or corrected information on my ancestors.
Now I have furthered my genealogy research into my Mom's family which are Fanning/Carr/Causier/Bussey.
I am also researching my husband's ancestors as well. They are Bratton/Rose/Shogren/Larsen families.
I am addicted to the drug "genealogy" and I dont plan on stopping any time soon, so please no intervention on this one....hahahahaha

My memorials that are either created and/or maintained are family members only, so please do not ask to have them transferred. I am honored to take care of my family members and their memorials because I feel it is my responsibility to make sure their legacy is presented to whomever wants to look at the information I have found.
The pictures I have attached to the memorials are for you to enjoy, so please feel free to include them into your genealogy/research/memorial information.
If there is information that you are specifically looking for, please contact me and I will do what I can to fulfill your requests.
Happy Researching and God Bless!!!!

Thanks for clarifying Sarah's surname. I have found records with four different spellings for her and didn't know which one was correct. Do you have any information about her ancestors? I have none. Would appreciate your help.

lol - Got a chuckle on your being hooked on genealogy. Do you want to go to "AA" with me? That stands for Ancestry Anonymous and my husband swears he is going to send me there:)

Sally: I saw your flower comment and thought I would let you know I posted a Bratton family plot photo for their exact burial location. I'm trying to add all the plot photos to each Bratton that I can identify. There are 2 rows of Bratton related individuals with other Brattons throughout this area. Their daughter Anna is buried next to them.

I was out to the cemetery today trying to fulfill your request, but the older stones are not legible at all. Most cannot even be seen as ever having carving.

The cemetery itself is in sad shape. You may know that the cemetery is on a little "cut-out" piece of land from another property right on the road. The adjacent property owner told me that an older man used to take care of it, but he died. The property owner has been keeping the grass cut periodically but that is all. Besides the old stones that have almost been buried, there are several others that have fallen. It also appears that several of the footstones are misplaced to the headstones!

I looked at each stone and took a couple of pictures of ones missing on the cemetery site. I can tell you that none of the Hoppers had visible stones.

Photo Request
I checked some time back for I. Edwards &
Nannie Edwards. They are buried in the
Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (Old)
and not the cemetery beside the church.
It has took me to now to find the old
cemetery. I downloaded both of the pictures.
I will email them to you also.

I am just not sure of the death date (year). You say it's 1876, and I can't read that with the photo, I'll try to go by in the next few days and do a rubbing and see what I can get from that.

RE: Wilma & Dennis Nelson
Hi Sally
As I was looking for the cemetery I talked to my wife uncle who lives in the area. When I told him who we were looking for he knew him and where he lived. When we left the cemetery I said why we try to find his home place. Called the uncle again and he told us where to go. We went looking and we were going down a road and I said that that looked like Bonnie June husband Jack. I got out and asked him if he knew Jack and he said that was who he was. He didn't recognize me until I told him who I was. We visited a while then we left but I am going back again. They only live about 3 miles from my brorher in law. I have been going down there 17 years and didn't know I was close to them. So THANKS for involving me in this as I probably would never looked them up.
