Benjamin D. Kay Photo
Hi. You posted the wrong photo to his memorial #52653633. The photo is of the grave stone for his son, Benjamin Caldwell Kay #85179526. I hope you will move the photo to the son as there is not a photo on his memorial. I have posted correct photos for Rev. Kay but do not have one for his son. Thanks. Susan

RE: Zim
I really don't know. My grandfather is William August Zimmermann buried in Mt Royal. His father was known as August Zimmermann in America (buried in St John's Lutheran cemetery in millvale/shaler no headstone) but was baptized Gustav Adolph Zimmerman in 1866 in Gelnica, Slovakia. His parents were Samuel Zimmerman and Elisa Saltzer. There were other siblings in Slovakia.

August/Gustav Adolph was running from something and it may have been a shotgun. He had an illegitimate child in Slovakia baptized Gustav Adolph Walko. He immigrated at 16 and lived with his father and step mother. Also took the name Zimmerman but with one N not two N's.

I hear the skeletons rattling in the closet and family secrets are out :) If any of this sounds familiar please let me know. I have always looked for the truth - good or bad.

Hoping to hear from you.

RE: Request of photo
I no longer have this photo. I have contacted a friend to post it. If he doesn't have it, I will run over and retake the photo for you.

You don't have to take another picture. Since you took the picture, Just copy the one that is online and post it to the memorial, regards.
