Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a genealogy buff and began my own searching in 2001. I have always loved to visit old cemeteries because there is so much more history in those cemeteries then you will ever find in a book. Interests: Gamblin, Latimer, Shook, Sealey, Hillin, Norris, Phillips, Milligan, Knight, Whitehead, Lynn, Stelzer and Cunningham ancestors.

It is wonderful to meet fellow history of families buffs and preserving old cemeteries here at Find a Grave.

I have been given so much help and hope I have been able to give some help back.

RE: Josephine Morgan
Hi Rose! This is just to let you know I've added photos to John's and Josephine's memorials.

Take care,
Bonnie

Hello! I just added the info you suggested and the links as well. I will be going to that cemetery this week so I will get photos to add. I transcribed a large portion of that cemetery starting 4 years ago, and am slowly adding photos as time allows. But when I see an interest in particular graves, I get out my trusty log book and go for photos. Someday they will all have photos, but it sure is a slow process since I can only do it part time.

Regards,
Bonnie

I was going to send you an email, but alas, can't find it on your page. I was wondering if you ever ran across any information on the Bunch family from Lamar County, TX. That is my family line from there, so always on the hunt.

I am a transcriber and State Host for Genealogy Trails (www.genealogytrails.com) so I spend all my time working on getting information online. I also love old cemeteries, and spend a lot of weekends out wandering them, photographing them, and then transcribing the information to go online. Check us out, and if you would like, share your information with us, so we can help get it out for other people hunting their families.

Thanks again for the information.

RE: Thank you for the memorial day rememberance
You are very welcome, and very right, it was a long time coming, as a vet of the era myself, and married to a Vietnam vet who did return.
It is very personal to us, we lost 3 of our friends in that war, 2 were "Best friends, all from a small MT town.

RE: Thanks for the flowers
No problem. I'm sure more people will leave flowers. Sometimes it just takes a while.

Southwest Louisiana Roots
I live in a small community just west of Lake Charles called Carlyss. I was born and raised in Goosport just north of Lake Charles.
If a person was born or raised here before the 1960's then more than likely they are blood kin or kin by marriage to me. My roots run in all directions in Southwest Louisiana and they run deep. My Family Tree at Ancestry.com is over 20,000 people with 8700 photo's and 33,000 documents, to date, and grows daily.
