You are quite welcome - wish I had better news. Have you tried to call the funeral home? They would have a record of where they sent her (if not buried in town.)

It was my pleasure. The sunlight was perfect for photography on Saturday when I stopped by the cemetery. I would glad to send you the original size photograph via e-mail. You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

|N Kluge||RE: John Gerding Photo|
Interesting development with the John Gerding family. Yesterday I worked on your photo request for Gerding and someone else's photo request for Louisa James. After eyeballing both markers, seeing the James name on Gerding's wife's marker, and noting the proximity of the Gerding graves to the James graves, I left messages for both of you about the apparent connection.
In connecting with the other requester today, I found out Gerding's wife Helen was Louisa James' daughter. So the other requester created additional memorials and I uploaded pictures for all. Unfortunately, she created a duplicate memorial for John Gerding but she's working to get that squared away. She also added some additional info and links to connect the two families.
Glad to be of help to you both!

I fulfilled your photo request for John Gerding in the Colfax (Washington) Cemetery. I just wanted to let you know in case you're interested, John's marker lies between markers for Helen James Gerding (1873-1963) and Richard James Gerding (Apr 1918-May 1918). The "James" in the above two names may be connected to Louisa and William James, since the two James markers and the three Gerding markers are all near each other. Let me know if you'd like photos of the other Gerdings and the James markers.

Marion, You have my thanks and appreciation for the good job you did in taking and downloading the photo of Ardella's grave stone. You are indeed and asset to the FindaGrave website and all those who have loved ones that have passed before us.
