I began working on my family tree in 1960 to fill in the blanks in my Bible. Needless to say, I can't seem to get it completed. I began with Find a Grave about a year ago and can't seem to complete this either.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Social Studies and a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling.

When I post an obituary, it is usually a few days or weeks after the service. Just don't like to put out too much information for someone to use it in the wrong way. I will only consider transferring family members of the deceased so please tell me of the relationship when asking to transfer. Also be very careful that the find-a-grave memorial number is CORRECT.

Pleasant View Cemetery
Thelma,
Am wondering what town is close to Pleasant View Cemetery, Woods Co, Oklahoma. I have a Great Uncle, Anson E Martin buried there and am in Oklahoma now. Would like to visit the cemetery before I go back to Idaho. Thank you. Evelyn

Find A Grave Memorial# 76236338
(actually, his father is William Edward Lancaster 1880-17 Dec 1918, buried here too. He was born 6 months after his father died, so his mother was pregnant when his father died. Stella married William Thomas Lancaster 1874, in 1923.)

Correct Mother's name
I am writing in regard to Harry W Eisenhour, Memorial # 56925108, buried in Pleasantview Cementery in Woods County, Oklahoma. Please correct his Mother to Lizzie E Eisenhour (1850-1885). Anna Eisenhour was his stepmother. Thank you, Dee Munson

Laury Simpson Alva Ok
Dear Thelma, I was just passing through Alva this week and stopped to look in the Star Cemetery at Alva for my 2nd great grandfathers grave. There is not a stone with his name. I was wondering where you found the record of his burial? You said he was buried in row ten. How can I get a chart of the cemetery? I am new at this. His name is Laury Simpson born June 1842 and died Dec 2, 1915. I am from Weldona, Colorado my name is Pat Ehrlich and my email is artworks56@hotmail.com
Charles E. Simpson is buried there as well and he had a headstone. That was Laury's son.

RE: David Jones
Thanks!!
I have walked block 7 and could not find his grave. The cities list of people buried at city hall doesn't list him. The only thing might be he is buried in lots owned by someone else. However the cities index doesn't show him.

David Issac Jones
Dear Ms. Crouch.
David was a college classmate of mine. I have moved back home (Alva) when I discovered he had passed. This site claims he is buried here death date is April 24, 2005 (you have April 4). The city records do not show him buried in Alva. Can you clear this misunderstanding up for me as I would like to give my respects at his grave site.
Thank you

Right. I have found a correction for contributor "Carol S." but it appears that she has passed away so I don't know how we are going to get that corrected.
