Bio Photo I have been doing research since the early 1960's. The computer is so much better and faster. So glad I found this site. I would love to help with anything in the Selma or Eutaw, Alabama areas.

Hello Again~ I have not claimed the requests in OLO cemetery in Selma. If you are in Selma and want to do these graves I will defer to you. If you are not in Selma I can do these next week. I live in Selma. Just let me know your desires. Thanks, John

Hello Again~ I posted pictures for the two Ambrose graves. I sent a message to the person who requested the pictures explaining the situation, told them you also had taken the pictures, but were having technical problems. I asked them to cancel their request. Thank you for your participation in Find A Grave. Regards/John

Hello~ Thanks for your reply. I do not have the one for Old Live, but I can do them Monday. The pictures are a bit of a problem to "compress" the pictures to the acceptable size. I found some "freeware" on the internet that I use to get the pictures to the required size. Good luck, John

Hello, I have completed the two requests for Ambrose graves at NLO that I had previously claimed.
I was a bit late getting over there. I will be glad to post the photos or you can go to NLO and take additional pictures. Please let me know your desires. Regards/ John

Caleb & Nancy Elizabeth Burkett
Find A Grave contributor Dolls has made a suggestion to you regarding your Find A Grave memorial for Caleb Burkett.

Their suggestion:
Caleb Burkette was born Jan 1839. He was married in to Nancy who was born in 1845. They were the parents of Georgia Ann Gray born 14 Nov 1868 and died 11 Jul. She was married Henry Gray 23 Dec 1884. Henry was born 7 Feb 1853 and died 18 Aug 1911. He was my grandfather's brother.

I have linked Caleb & Nancy Elizabeth Burkett, as requested.
Would you happen to know when Caleb died, and also, what was Nancy's maiden name?

I found a Sarah Ann Gray buried at the cemetery (Hopewell Methodist Church Cemetery, McWilliams, Wilcox Co., Alabama), but no Georgia Ann.

Thank you.

RE: Butler's of Selma,Alabama
I sure am. The Allens lived in Massachusetts before a few of them moved to Alabama. I have done extensive research on the Allen Family. If you are interested my homepage is

There you will find a database with most of my research and many pictures of Allen related cemeteries

Feel free to email me anytime

Steele Memorials
Thank you for your email but being that you are related to the Steeles, I have transferred to you the memorials that I had originally posted. Hope that helps, this way you can manage them and add and link as you desire.
