Bio and Links
Bio Photo Recently I have become more serious about researching my family tree and my husbands.I have always been interested in geneaology, {really history in general}. I have enjoyed finding out info about my maternal grandmother's side of the family to share with my mom who doesn't have anyone living anymore to ask. I have also been researching my husband maternal grandmothers family. It's really fun!

RE: Are you related to my husband?
Hi Brenda,
My family spells it both ways...
J. R. (Reggie) Pittillo is part of my family tree from his father, Noah Franklin Pittillo, son of John Hampton Pittillo.

Re Joseph Hadley Thomson
That is not necessary. I am not related but he does have an entry in our civil war book and I want the facts straight. Thanks. I accept what you say. My own research does show that his first initial is J. but went by Had or Hadley as census records show.
Thanks a lot and the findagrave entry has been corrected. Cyndy

RE: Are you related to my husband?
My great great grandmother, Mary Caroline "Nancy" Patillo (Pattillo) wife of Corder Lollar my great great grandfather.

She was the daughter of James Patillo and Sarah W. Wood.

Brenda, My research notes do indicate that his first initial was J so have taken your word that it stands for Joseph, but I would like to know what source you have that says so. Actually I have him in my information sheet as J Hadley Earl Thomson. But I have dropped the Earl until I further seek out my source for the Earl. I have compiled information on him as a part of a Civil War book. Cyndy

Brenda, take a look at the bio I just posted for Hadley Thomson. I assure you that the bio checks out with census records. Cyndy
