Bio Photo I was born in NH and lived there until my marriage in 1962. My husband was in the Navy for 8 yrs. and upon his discharge we moved to MI for employment. I worked at Sparrow Hospital, in Lansing,MI, as a registered nurse until our retirement in 2000. After retirement, we sold our home and traveled in our RV volunteering at numerous wildlife refuges and the White Mt. Nat. Forest in NH.

My husband, John, passed away in 2010 and is buried in Pitman Cemetery, N. Alexandria, NH. I now live in Port Huron, MI, close to my son. We have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. I now stay busy by volunteering at Port Huron Hospital and I am the President of our hospital auxiliary. I'm a member of the First Baptist Church in Port Huron and I'm active in our grief support group, sponsored by Blue Water Hospice.

Rensford
I found Rensford's memorial and sent his memorial manager the link to Ethel. So, within the next 30 or so days, you'll see his name on Ethel's and siblings memorials.

Ancestry.com shows that Alfred was born 23 Dec 1897 and died in Jul 1969. He died in Adams, MA, and had a last residence of Bennington, VT.

Hope that helps with your search!

Ok, I see the problem. Neither of them seems to have a memorial page on Find A Grave. You need to enter the memorial number to make the link. But first things first.

Do you know where they (Alfred and Rensford) are buried?

If you think they are at Homeland (same cemetery as your grandmother), you can call (603) 744-8385 and get some assistance with confirmation and the plot information. The plot information for your grandmother is on her memorial. The cemetery association will be able to tell you if the plots are together. They might also know if there are markers in place.

The plot info is really important because Homeland is large. If you request a photo of the graves, the photo volunteer will appreciate the information.

Good luck and please keep me posted!

RE: Edit Phyllis Mary Fleury Woodman
Hi Joyce

If you are logged in to your Find A Grave account, you should be able to make any edits you want to your mother's page.

Since I'm no longer the manager of the page (you are), I can't do anything directly. However, if you are having trouble adding her place of birth and death or adding any family links, I would be able to submit those as an edit that you could approve.

I'd be happy to help in that way if you'd like.
