My Name is Tami Kudlauskas. I started doing ancestry research in 2007 after my father passed away. My mother died in 1990 and she had been very passionate about ancestry. At the time, I really didn't care about it, but I'm glad that I kept all of her research. I have a lot of information on my Mom & Dad's families and now am beginning work on my husbands side. I'm really glad that ancestry turned me to this web site, as now I can build on the tree and have a place to remember those who have passed on. Family Names include Herbon, Kudlauskas, Shanahan, Hanson, Lane, Wroten, Elmendorf, Siefken, Schrader, Wilkins, Davis, Blazis, McManus, Conway, O'Bryan, Long, Berrian, Molohon, Smith, Stephens, Perry, Mason, Mann, Sebring, Bryan, McAtee, Ogle, most of these are from the states of Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, New York, Pennsylvania and the countries of Germany, & Ireland.|

|Kathy Goodman||Your Aunt Stella|
I read your profile in Find A Grave.
I hope your mom kept this family record.
Would there be a record of your Aunt Stella being married to my very dear uncle (by marriage) John Carragher in the 1940 Census living in Rock Falls?
I knew him well. I did not know her maiden name.
You can check the 1940 Census under John Carragher.
I would appreciate your getting back to me.
A Find A Grave Contributor.

Hi Tami; Would you possibly have a high school or military photo of Frank E. Lawton, a Lieutenant in U. S. Marines, died Oct.31, 1943?
If so, could you put it on the Find a grave site.
Many thanks. Shannan

Hi Tami - it's my guess as well that Catherine and William are related, most likely siblings, but so far I have not been able to link them. I was definitely surprised to see the Herbon stone in the image. The volunteer gave me the lot layout and, interestingly, Elizabeth Rubbert is listed as grave #7 (of 9) in the "Smith" lot (lot 18). Mary and William Herbon are graves #1 & 2 in lot 17. (There is also a Christian & Barbara Smith in lot 18 - perhaps a sibling to Catherine's husband H.C.)
I have Catherine's obit from the Sterling Gazette but the only relatives mentioned are the immediate children.
Do you have any further background info on William? Arrival? Living perhaps in PA? My g-g-grandfather's (Catherine's son Louis ) obit states he was born in Harrisburg, PA in 1862 & that the family moved to the Sterling-Rock Falls area before 1868...but I have yet to locate the family in PA...

|Julie Harris||Mary Eileen Kudlauskas|
Hi Tami, thank you very much for adding this memorial for my mom, Mary Eileen Kudlauskas. I corrected the name from Kudlauskas Ruskis because John Ruskis was her stepfather and she did not take his name when her mother married him.
I am happy to take this memorial over if you want to transfer and to help you with any Kudlauskas info you may not yet have.

I have transferred him to you. However, you don't have to manage a memorial in order to make links and add information. You can use the edit button in the upper right of each memorial.
|Grave Digger||RE: Mayme Ruth Hollis Buchanan|
your welcome, are you kin to the Lane`s family from Franklin County, Pennsylvania?
|Melody Addington||RE: Charles E Miller|
You are welcome, I enjoy doing this.
|Susie ||Charles Oscar Hanson|
I have searched long and hard to find records on my Great Grandfather Charles Oscar Hanson, that he was really born in Australia. So far I have come empty handed. I know in census and other documents, he said he was born at sea, Australia, Norway...and have not found his father, some say Carl Oscar Hanson and his mother Agnetta Trousau.
Please write me at my home email, since I so not have always have Ancestry.... email@example.com
