Hi Cathy,
I am curious as to where the information on William Smith, Susannah Purdue Smith and other Smiths came from. Are their graves marked or is it from Cemetery records? They are from my family tree and I would love to have pictures if at all possible. Thank you for all your hard work, finding and posting gravesites.

Lyday's
Wow, awesome to find a new relative! I found George Washington Lyday's wife on Ancestry.com. There are several family trees that show her name as Elizabeth Stockslager, born in Germany, May 28 1813, died Nov 17 1851 in Montgomery Ohio. They show they got married Jan 24 1834.
I've had a hard time finding info on Frank. I know he was a watchman for the railroad and was crushed between 2 train cars. I did find someone who may have more info on him, but they are traveling right now and said they would get back to me when they return home. They even had pictures of my great grandma and great grand Aunt. The world wide web really is awesome to find information and family!
I do have a list for a Lyday who died in the Civil War Mar 28 1883. The name lists as Doebon, that's what it looks like to me, H Lyday. It's the only Lyday I can ever find that matches the headstone info. Thanks so much for getting back to me. Would love to stay in touch and share info again with you. Take care

RE: Mary Marlow Lyday Meng
Hey Cathy, Turns out Mary is my great great grandmother. Her marriage to William Henry Lyday connects her to me. Her son, Frank, is my great grandfather. Mary was quite the busy woman! I know that Frank's headstone says he is the brother of O R Lyday, but the dates don't fit and if O R was Mary's husband, then Frank can't be his brother. Any thoughts on that?

Mary Marlow Lyday Meng
Hi there! I was wondering if you are related to Mary? If so, would you have any information on her first husband O R Lyday? I am related to the Lydays but can't find much on him. Any information would be helpful, thanks. Pat
