Bio Photo "We were talking about what it was like to spend one's childhood in little towns like these, buried in wheat and corn, under stimulating extremes of climate: burning summers when the world lies green and billowy beneath a brilliant sky, when one is fairly stifled in vegetation, in the color and smell of strong weeds and heavy harvests; blustery winters with little snow, when the whole country is stripped bare and gray as sheet-iron. We agreed that no one who had not grown up in a little prairie town could know anything about it."

Clois "Thorpe" Saunders
John,
A missing link. The obituary for Viola Pawley states that her husband, Thorpe Saunders died "68 years ago" which places his date of death as 1883. They were living "in the Anita vicinity". Any ideas of where I might locate a grave for him?

None to be forgotten
Sarah Smith
I just deleted the duplicate memorial for Sarah. Working from different records and the fact that Find A Grave's lists aren't always up-to-date causes this to happen now and then no matter how carefully I check!

There is no need to reply to this email but I want to thank you for being so polite in your request. You wouldn't believe some of the language used in emails from other members in similar situations. I usually remind them that "you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar"! -Cindy

RE: Nancy E Taylor Mistake
thank you so much for the info, I thought I was wrong, so that clears that up
Are you related? if you are, I have info on her sister/brothers as well
I know how miss-information goes, I've done it loads of times on searching the Purdy Family

Nancy E Taylor
I need some clarification on her parents, if you have it. my records show Nancy Ellen "Nanny" Purdy daughter of William Purdy 136473021 & Lydia Jacoby.
her brother is William Arnold Purdy 86490990
this has her parents as Taylor
any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated to clear this up for me.
Keep up the great work on findagrave. Our Ancestors would be proud to know they are not forgotten
Thanks again

Mary Anne Boyle Margarell
I was wondering if you are related to her? Also I have she was born on February 9, 1850, I have this from a descendant of the Boyle family who still lives in Canada. I have not heard from him in about 2 years.
