I went back for the photo of Louise 3 times. It turns out her marker was completely covered with a mound of mud, which is how I missed it the first time. It took one time to clear it and when I went back hoping it was dry there was more dirt on it so I cleared it again and just couldn't wipe off the mud. One my 3rd trip 2 weeks later it was dry, but completely covered in dirt again. The gophers are very active here. At least there was no mud this time so I got a decent shot although it was sun down so I had to shade it.

Carl's marker was cleaned and I uploaded a new photo to his page.

I'm happy to have been of help. It's not a problem going up there and I'm very glad I was able to unearth Louise's marker even if the gophers keep throwing dirt back on it.

RE: Hendrickson plot at Salt Lake City Cemetery
I most certainly will go back and take a look. I'm curious if I just missed it or if there wasn't a marker for this grave. I've put it on my list for the next trip next weekend. Happy to do it.

RE: John and Sarah Jenkins
Hi,again. All photos are posted. John R.'s stone says age 66y and Sarah's says age 56y. If you look at the overall photo posted to John R.'s site you can see all six tombstones with John H. and Sarah Alice's stones to the left, running perpendicular behind the front row. Glad I could help , enjoyed the walk. Milton Cemetery is about a half mile from my house and Harmony Cemetery is accross the street from me. Barry

No not from Duluth. I know CMDR Norwood's daughters and I am honored to have met him and shared time with him. Do you have a link to CMDR Norwood?

Hi John - I was wondering about the source for the biography for this man, Find A Grave Memorial# 91311716. He was married to my grandaunt Kate (Hill) Jenkins, and you have found information I have not seen before, and would like to include in my genealogy. Please let me know. Thanks!

RE: Vielen Danke, Bernhard!
Dear John, it's really not so easy to get informations for Robert Weigl. I found out that Robert was born in Sagor in the Austrian Hungarian Empire (now Zagorje in Slovenia) on Oct. 16th, 1851, died on Dec. 26th, 1912 in Vienna. He became a member of the association of fine arts on May 13th, 1892. The association already exists under the name Künstlerhaus (www.k-haus.at). However he left the association on Jan 3th, 1898, after disputes with the management, he exhibit 2 identical plaster busts, one in the association with a sales price of 50 florins, the other in the museum for ats and crafts for 15 florins.

Works of art I found the monoment of Beethoven which is located in a park in Vienna, a plaster bust of Joseph Haydn which is in the ownership of the society of friends of music (Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde)in Vienna. In Bad Naumheim (Germany) in the tavern "Forsthaus Winterstein" there is a sculpture "empress Elisabeth in clouds" from 1902. The last work I found in the German historic museum in Berlin, a bust of Emperor Franz Josef from Austria.

Well that's all I find out, not very much but I hope it helps you a little bit.
