F. McClure
Hi Jo Ann:

I'm not a relative of F. Mc Clure. I don't mind deleting my memorial but it does have a tombstone picture. I don't know how to transfer pictures. Do you. If you do and want his tombstone picture transferred, go ahead or tell me how if I have to do it.

Let me know and I will delete my memorial.

Hello Jo Ann,

THANK YOU!!! For sending the info about Fred. I have added all you sent me plus the names of his two sons. I am sorry that there was not much information on the memorial. I did not have much to go by. I found Fred in the TX death index, but cannot figure out why there is no death certificate. I do attempt to find each death certificate to complete the basic info like dob, dod, and maiden names.

There are many simple cement markers like Fred's at both Temple Mount Sinai and at the B'Nai Zion Cemetery. Even some current ones. They were used mostly by those with not much money.

Knowing both of these temples though, there probably was a funeral with the Rabbi officiating at the ceremony, if that is any comfort. There was a recent burial last month at B'Nai Zion where the deceased was a homeless man. Only his name was known. The temple took care of all the arrangements and there was a funeral for him.

Again, thank you and welcome to Find A Grave.
