I am a Librarian living in far Southwest Virginia. My major interests have always been American history related.|
After years of taking pictures of cemeteries for sheer aesthetics, I decided to actually take pictures that could help people with their family research.
Through findagrave I have been able to find photos of people in my family who I never thought that I would. It has been a wonderful experience.

Thank you so much for this memorial. This was my great grandfather. I've only seen an old b&W photo of his tombstone but never knew where he was buried. I plan to visit his grave soon. I would like to note however that he had four more children; James (my grandfather), Oma, Holly, and Ralph.
Again, thanks so much for you hard work.

Please disregard my previous request. We went back to look again and were fortunate to find their graves/markers this time.
Thanks again for the work you've done to document this cemetery

thank you for the work you've done to post the Wise Cemetery graves.
My Aunt and I spent the afternoon looking for Polly & Henry Johnson's graves (53891617 and 53891619). You posted these on 6/20/2010.
Any possibility you could tell me what section of the cemetery these graves are located in please?
They are my great grandparents. We found Polly's parents graves today over in Dickenson County.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I would like to request a transfer of Clifford Cowan Stone #58095869 (my wife's great uncle). I have further information to add along with ties to parents and siblings.

Thank you for the transfer Ang.
You've done a lot of hard work for Find A Grave, thank you so much!
Will put all the information I have on him in his bio section. Mr. Greear was my grandmother's first husband. If anyone closer in his family line requests, I'll transfer him per Find A Grave rules and regulations.
