Bio Photo "STARDUST"

And now the purple dusk of twilight time
Steals across the meadows of my heart,
High up in the sky, the little stars climb,
Al-away re-min-ding me that we're a-part.
You wander down the lane and far away,
Leaving me a song that will not die,
Love is now the star dust of yes-ter-day,
The music of the years gone by...

Lyrics written by, Mitchell Parish 1929

Re: the data we couldn't read in the sun. The top two names and inscriptions are:
Joseph Gitzinger died Aug 14, 1847 aged 38 years
Elizabeth Gitzinger died Dec 4, 1882 aged 68 years.

Hi above Frederick is Elizabeth Gitzinger and a over her is Joseph Gitzinger. We think is says died 1847 for Joseph.
We can't read the inscription except on the full pic. When we go back there we will check to see if we can read it.

RE: Pleasant Grove Cemetery
Thank you for the information. I'll look at the Stoneman's very closely. Sometimes related families are buried in a related family plot. If the Stoneman's already owned it and the Long's were close relatives and got along well with the Stoneman's it's possible they are both buried in the Stoneman plot, maybe. I have seen that before.

Pleasant Grove Cemetery
You have a few photo requests in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near McGregor IA. I have not yet found any Long's but I have found several Stoneman's. I believe I have photos of the whole cemetery and will try to transcribe all that I can, some are very hard to read. I will keep looking through all the pictures and try my best to get them all recorded and hopefully they are there and I missed the Long's when I looked through them. The Long's were buried in the 60's so they shouldn't be among the very hard to read ones, most of those I believe are near pre-1900 era.

I will add some pictures as soon as I can get them from a family member. Sorry I missed her, got involved on my side of family members and meant to get back to research her. Thanks
