Wittenberg Grave Marker
Dear Grace
Thank you for posting this photo,I believe this to be my great-great uncle, am awaiting verification from the Berlin State Library in Berlin Germany.
As with another person that posted a comment, do you have some connection with the Wittenberg's, or did you just find the headstone interesting?

Thanks so much again for posting, I have seen this personally at Woodmere.

Ferdinand Jasch
Hi: Are you aware that you have 2 of the same picture on Ferdinand Jasch #10322112? You might want to remove one of them.

August Engel
Hi: I thought you might like to know that the gravestone picture you have attached to August Engel born in 1863 and died in 1919 belongs to his Uncle August Engel who was born in 1834 and died in 1906 and was married to Caroline. Regards, Chris

Knowles marker
I will be happy to look for your ancestor's marker, however, I know that cemetery well. [My ancestors are also there in unmarked graves.] The stones are few and worn by wind and sea. I don't remember any Knowles markers. I will check it out as I have to go to Wellfleet Cemetery soon.

The Ancestor Hunter
Thank you for your reply and posting the photo. It sparked a review existing info and search for more that enabled me to make a connection.

For being a findagrave member for such a short time you certainly have posted many photos. I am sure they will continue to help others.

Good luck on your searches.

The Ancestor Hunter
Grace, I notice that you posted a marker photo for Jacob & Mary Kuderle. They are most probably my GtGtGdParents.

I see you volunteer and post a lot of photos so I doubt you have any connection to this family ???

If you don't do you recall what prompted the photo?

Thank you.
