I began researching my family history shortly before my father died in 1999. I have connected with several cousins since then and look forward to hearing from many more.

I was born in Baltimore, MD and moved to Virginia in 1976 and have resided here since. I consider Virginia my home because my father's side of the family has been here for at least 250 years or more.

Genealogy, scrapbooking and reading are my hobbies. Also, I research family histories on the side for the other members of my family. I enjoy the challenge and learning experience.

Tried sending this in an email - not a good address

Took three pictures:
Glen Haven Cemetery Section A Plot 872

There is a blank PHILLIPS marker at Grave 3 - Irene is buried there. (needs dates and name on it)

There is a marker for a 10 year old girl - Delores Lee (Scotty) - at Grave 4

There is a marker at the bottom of Grave 3 for James; but the cemetery has no record of his burial.

Sorry, I do that a lot... hit the enter key. Anyway, I have some info on a James E. Petree born 1833 In Prince Anne County VA. if you are interested.
I'm doing research on the 6th Virginia Infantry and found his name.
Let me know.

RE: Dexter Fair
You're quite welcome; sorry it didn't work out. If you find definitive evidence to suggest that he is buried at Loudon Park, you might want to call the office and see if they can help. It wouldn't be the first time that the microfilm records (which I used) were incomplete or out of order.

RE: Kozma Family
Hi Dea, no I don't really know anything about the family, I'm not originally from Leechburg. You might want to contact the Leechburg Area Historical Society, they can most likely help you

RE: Kozma Family
You are very welcome. I also have pix of the mother and another son that I will be posting shortly.
They are all in a row together.
