I'm sorry I deleted the memorial before getting the picture of Noah's stone but I will be very glad to take another. I know the location of his stone. Sorry I duplicated. Hi, I wanted to see if our Wisecup's can be connected. My step dad Gary Michael Wisecup is the son of Calvin Coolidge Wisecup who passed in 1993 in GA. They are all originally from Ohio. I am trying to help my step dad find out more about his family as he grew up in an orphanage. Of note, his father Calvin Coolidge Wisecup born 1924, Aunt Mildred born 1923 and Aunt Icie Wisecup born 1921 all were in the Wilson's Childrens Home in West Union, OH according to the 1930 and 1940 Census. I do not know the parents names. Any help would be much appreciated.

Grandma Patti, I have news items pertaining to the Wisecups of Highland County, Ohio. Unfortunately, there are no Find A Grave memorials to add them to so I can't send them as SACs. One is an item about Harrison Wisecup being indicted for murdering his fourteen-year-old sister, Lydia, in Feb. 1859. Another item is about John W. Wisecup murdering Jesse Forkner in April 1868. Do you want them?

Phebe Caroline was the name given to her for her paternal grandmother's and Finley was given to for her maternal grandmother's maiden name. Her paternal grandparents were John & Phebe Caroline (Taylor) Patton and her maternal grandparents were John & Margaret (Finley) Glasgow. Samuel her first husband was killed in the Civil War at the Battle of Franklin, Tenn. He was killed in Dec 1864 & she had her last baby 3 months later. I am not sure but I think they had 3 children:
1. ______ Wright, born _ ?1859 died young,
buried ?
2. ANNA M. WRIGHT, born Sep 1861, married ??
Harry Smith, (not sure about his name)he died
& left her with 3 children, Walter "Walt" H.
Smith, Thomas Finley Smith, & Mary Caroline
Smith.
3. Mary D. Wright, born Mar 1865, died 5 Aug
1865, buried Cherry Fork cemetery
She married her second husband Thomas McCoy Young in Sep 1868. He had been married before and his wife Nancy Askren had died in May 1868. He had 3 children by her. In 1880 & 1900, they were living in Winchester, Adams County, Ohio.
