Memorials
Thank you so much, Paul. (I will learn how to create memorials and add pictures for other members of the family, soon I hope) It is so nice of you to honor Mom and Dad. Sincerely, Carolyn

RE: Shirley Fulp Angel
I found out where her parents were buried. no need to email me unless you have info to add to their bios. My 3rd great grandmother was an Angel.

you need to reload your family pic and change the setting to "person" so that it will stay above the headstone pictures (because if you leave as "grave" setting it will remain below)

RE: THANKS
Am going through the newspaper and photographing to preserve copy at library through special permission(1941-1958 photo'd so far) so those that I get transferred will hopefully be followed up with an obit. So keep tracking down relatives, I'll get them transferred a.s.a.p. Barbara

Luzena Fulp Marshall
Sorry I didn't see all of your messages yesterday. Computer problems!!

I've changed the date of Luzena Marshall's death. Thank you for letting me know about the difference.

I never realized that anyone had added a picture of her tombstone until you pointed out the date. The pictures put on our entries by other people can't be taken off by anyone but the person who added them. (Although I've found a way around that in some cases---and that is to delete the entry and re-enter it.) In Luzena's case the family connections to her would be lost, so I will have to leave it as it is.

Just like you, I was really tickled when I discovered that all of these people were my relatives. Since my father's own dad died when he was only a small child, he never knew any of them himself. After I started getting curious to know where I came from, I started digging. Somehow it eventually led to my getting letters from May Etta Mitchell---who told me all about the Marshalls, etc. I haven't always lived in NC myself although I was born here, so finding the connections to all of those people has been really interesting and fun to do.
