|GLEANEALOGY||The ancestry of Joseph Lawrence Travers|
I am interested in learning more about Joseph Lawrence Travers, the first husband of Rebecca Farrow. Can you name, for me, a few of his TRAVER antecedents (father, grandfather, etc.)?
Trying to ascertain whether or not his ancestors are related to those of Howard W. Traver, a relative of mine, born at Poughkeepsie, who later relocated to Yonkers, New York.
I hold a record, dated 1930, which seems to suggest that a family alliance potentially existed between Anna Traver (dau. of Howard W. Traver), and George Farrow (son of Rebecca, whose first husband was Joseph Lawrence Travers).

The Evergreens Cemetery has a website where you can look up a lot of the 500,000 people buried there. I have family buried there. I noticed your request for a picture had a problem reported. I looked up the name and did not find it online yet. They have only entered about 300,000 names of the 500,000 buried there so it's not surprising that someone is missing.
If you call the cemetery at (718) 455-5300 as I did, they should be able to get you the interment number and Plot number for your photo request.

|Dos Perros||Nancy Finch Corley|
Nancy Finch Corley (born 1864) was my step-great-great-grandmother. She married David Crockett Nichols in 1909 and they later moved to Idaho. I have pictures of Nancy and some old postcards that I would be happy to copy for you if you would like.
I have lots here too. Missouria Agnes Shelton Humphry lived with my grandmother and my father until she passed. She also went and preffered the name "Maudie." I have a book on the Humphrys written by my grandmother's cousin, Lillian Cazort. We are also DAR members through this side of the family. Through Dr. nelson and his daughter Jane who married a Humphry. Am glad to share.
