"If you wish for a transfer,no problem. If they are not related to me, then I see no reason to keep them. All you have to do is ask." Connie Carl (#47284213)
I am a retired fifth-generation Californian, trying to memorialize what I have found, but mostly, trying to share the vast research done by my brother, Ken. Our most prominent ancestors are the McPherson's of Alexander Valley, CA and the Lea's of the Clear Lake, CA area. I also am working on Abbott, Curry, Combs, Hixson, Leach, Robinson, Sierck, Vassar, and Zittleman. We are also currently engaged in a project to recover large numbers of neglected memorials in the Sonoma County, California region. I am a Sons of the American Revolution society member, for those interested in that subject, and hold The Order of California from the State Adjutant General. The transfer policy I believe is healthiest:
"I always try to check for duplicates before posting, but sometimes miss them. "I will make corrections or I will gladly transfer ownership of any of your relatives memorials to you. "As a matter of fact, if you know more about these folks than I do, don't be surprised to get a transfer. "If a memorial is a direct ancestor of mine, we can work out some agreement."
Thanks to: ADD (#46942490) (47,000 memorials)

 | From Sarah After your last message, I found a few McPherson memorials that I had missed in California. I enjoy reading the bios on Find A Grave and also leaving tokens. I am going to send you an email soon with a question or two on our earliest McPhersons in Maryland. | | | Sarah Johnson

 | Sonoma County I am so glad to hear from you. I like your enthusiasm. Yes, I would like you to work on a few memoorials if you feel you have the time.
Fixing, linking and transfering over 6,000 memorials is a big task and there are plenty to go around. My main goal is to find the people who are woking on families that included Dorri's memorials. Unfortunately, she erased all the messages off her 'wall'. We will just fix them up and wait to hear from folks as they realize the memorials are now available.
Send me an email if you are interested.
