I posted the photo you requested. The American Legion here is in connection with Wreaths across America- Wreaths on veterans graves. Each year they add more. David's grave does not have one yet this year,but I did take a photo of the rows that are decorated. Would you like me to add that to David's page on F.A.G.? Yes, I have info on Johannes John Rosel Russell, 1771-1808, & his parents, & on back. Hans Jacob Russell, 1728-1798, is my 5th X great grandfather, so I've got a bunch of info. The Middlekauffs come into play & then they in turn into the Keedys/Geetings which in turn into the Lang/Longs. How are you related to the Russells? Well I have 6 Children for Christopher & Elizabeth (Oswald) Flory
Susan, John, Nancy Ann, Sarah, Wilhelmina & Luther haven't found any thing on Luther.
John moved to Michigan. Nancy Ann Condon is buried in Mansfield Cemetery. Susan, Sarah & Wilhelmina are buried at Springmill.
John M. Russell was killed at Murfreeboro later buried in Stones River Cemetery.

Have you sent for both of their Civil War records? In the 1850 Census the same one as your at the top is a Christena Flora with the Kirkpatrick family she is my 2X Great Grandmother.

No Susan last name is Flory or Flora for some reason they are useing both spelling. Did you know that the Cemetery is full of relation, the Flory's, Hall's, Wise, Russel, Jaques. The Condon are at Mansfield Cemetery.

How many children did the Russel have? I see on there tombstone they only have one L.

Yes Susan is the daughter of Christopher & Elizabeth Oswald Flory. They are from Smithburg, Washington Co., Maryland. My line comes from his brother Conrad & Christena Flory, they are buried in New Castle.
Yes I have been working on the Flory line since 1972.
