Hi everyone, What a great site Find-A-Grave is. Ive been doing Genealogy since the 60's and my travels have taken me to many places. I started trying to do my family tree by asking my father if he had information on his (Cross) family. Naturally he said no, but I eventually found a large box with 73 old pictures, some old diaries and papers with brittle paper tape on them and lots of writing.. It was wonderful and I have been filling in the blanks ever since. My grandmother had attempted Genealogy back in the 1800's and gave me many clues on those old papers.. I am a Registered Nurse and since my retirement I'm trying to put whole cemeteries on Find-A-Grave. Many of the Memorials I have submitted are not my relatives. I just thought they might help someone. I am happy to transfer or update any who are not related to me. However please use the Edit button on the Memorial and follow the FAG guidelines for transfers you wish to receive. Some people have not done that and leave off important data so I have not been able to transfer them. Thanks for creating this site. Eleanor Koepke | |

 | Faint, Grace I just went to Grace Faint page on Find a Grave & it didn't show a photo of her marker. I was wondering if you have a photo & if its not bother I was wondering if you can retry to post it. Many thanks. KarenAdded by Karen on Jun 11, 2013 1:10 PM | | | Ed Chilton
 | 1952 book Hi, Eleanor, I found a very used book at the Bay City outdoor flea market. Apparently it was a gift to the Davison First Baptist Church by Elsie M. MUDGE circa 1952 when she was age 66. In 2011 you made an entry for her husband, Aldin MUDGE, buried in Davison, but none for Elsie who died 25 Nov 1979, at 93 years of age. This is a curiosity, and so I have made a photo request for Aldin's marker. For the sake of trivia, M-15 which bisects Davison divides cemeteries Green Ridge (west) from Pine Ridge (east) when it transits Bay City. | | | Hamblin/Keys

 | Memorial transfer Thank you for kindly transferring the memorial for John Reeser, a soldier in the Fourth Michigan Infantry, to me. It's in good hands. | | | Rick Sturgis
 | Lamton Fritcher? You manage a memorial page for a Lamton Fritcher in Evergreen Cemetery. I took a photo of a Lawton Fritcher's grave. Also, the dates are visible on the headstone. | | | Bob Wright
 | RE: Pictures Hi Eleanor, I may have mistaken his address - did I write twowrights@comcast.net or twowrights@comcast.com? twowrights@comcast.net is the correct address for Albert Wright. Sorry for the confusion, Albert is very interested in hearing from you. Sorry for the confusion, Bob Wright | | | | [View all messages...] |
