I am a retired teacher researching the Absalom Martin (1772 South Carolinia - 1850 Hall Co,GA)family. I am currently researching Prospect UMC Cemetery. I am currently entering the cemetery and would appreciate help in adding information and pictures. This church and cemetery are in Gwinnett County, Ga. and I live in Winder, GA. If you notice any errors, please let me know and I will correct verifiable mistakes.

Everett Nickerson and Flora Pass
The 1920, 1930, and 1945 Census data all say Flora was born in Georgia.

Their 1949 Florida marriage record shows a middle name of Prentice.

Several sources list West Palm Beach as the place of death.

Do you think those sources are incorrect? If so I'll change the birth place to unknown, death place to unknown and remove Prentice.

I also see Flora in Florida in 1948 and 1949, profession beautician.

Thanks for the other changes. I'll wait to hear from you on the others.

Flora Pass
Hi Mr. Martin,

Thanks for the information about Flora Nickerson buried in Woodlawn, Palm Beach County Florida.

I've added your information to the memorial and with that additional information was able to add/verify a couple additional facts.

I am a descendant of Absalom Martin through his son Stephen, who was a brother to Jacob, Moses, Elijah, etc. My sister's family research has uncovered through Absalom's will all of his children.
They are: Polly b. 1795 (md Eli Tanner), Jacob b. 1798 (md Susanna Martin), Elizabeth b. c 1800 (md John Porter), Moses b. 1800 (md Delilah Bennett), Elijah b. 1803 (md Melinda), James b. 1805 (md Melinda Gaston), Stephen b. 1807 (md Annie Martin, sister of Susanna Martin), Samuel b. 1810 (md Martha Ann Colley), Temperance b. 1812 (md William Salter), and Thomas C. b. 1814(md Franky Holland (1) and Hannah Matilda Cole (2)).
Stephen's son Jacob Martin md Nancy Holland. They are buried at New Bethany Baptist Church, Hall Co. Their daughter, Artie Missie Martin married John W. Dunaway (bur Salem Baptist Church, Forsyth Co), who is the brother of Lucy Dunaway (md Thomas A. Martin). Would you add this to your info to update the siblings you have listed for Absalom?

James H. Rainey #79299226
Good morning, I am working on connecting the Rainey relatives together. Matilda #131807950 shows as his first wife, and they have children together. Do you have any idea who his 2nd wife was? They had quite a few children together. I would love to link them all if I can find who their mother was. Thanks for all you do. David Sanford was one of their sons, and he married my great-aunt Texanna Peppers.

James Wiley Davis
Not sure what to make of this one.
I posted photos to your memorials James Wiley Davis and Tina Tinnie Davis: 119947536 and 119947758
(I already sent an edit for her dates)
He's buried with what has to be his 2nd wife, Zannie 130351921.
As you can see in the photo, it's a family plot. Between James/Zannie and Tinnie on the end, are 2 child graves;
Infant twins Walter 130352030 and Clifford 130352045 in one grave, and William H. 130352173.
His stone makes no sense: "Son of J.W. & M.A. Davis".
J.W. = James Wiley, of course. But William H. died in 1907 before Tinnie did in 1913, so shouldn't she be there? And the only M.A. I see is J.W.'s own mother.
I put James Wiley as father for William H., but no idea what to put for his mother.

Wm. Terrell & Lavinia Martin
Hi, these are supposed to be buried in Jackson County, but they are not on Find A Grave. I don't have a Jackson County book. Do you know where they are buried? We are trying to connect Phillip Martin (their son who is buried at Prospect UMC) to his parents. Thanks.
