My Grandmother told me stories about our ancestors on both sides of the family. I am into genealogy because she knew all of that info and passed it on. I learned about Find A Grave though a very distant "cousin" in Hawaii and it has added so much detail to those stories.|

|Lou Ann Seiz||RE: Bertha Rynders|
Carlene - Sorry I wasn't more clear - a neighbor of mine and her mother have spent years documenting all the cemeteries in Morgan County, Illinois. They are found if you google rootsweb morgan county Illinois cemeteries. Each cemetery is listed, and New Hope was last surveyed in 2005. At that time, there was no stone found for Bertha. Her father Isaiah's obituary states that Bertha and Eliza Arena, his daughters, preceded him in death. Eliza is not listed on the cemetery listing, but Bertha is with birth and death dates - I assume this information was obtained from New Hope church records. Isaiah's stone appears to be fairly new for his death date of 1910. If you can't find the link to the cemetery list, send me your email address and I'll send it to you that way. Cemetery is about 5 miles from me, so let me know if you need anything else.

How can I privately send you my email address so we can discuss this more?

He is the son of William and Allia Cordelia/sp BLACK SUGGS - if you wrote the information on his cemetery record, I appreciate it so very much to verify his parents. However, I am confused when I go to his mother's cemetery record as it lists her as Chief A.C. Suggs... Can you help me with this?
Bev in AL
Allie is the sister of great great grandmother Mary Ann BLACK ADAIR who remained in Lawrence County, AL

Yes, I am related - George Howard Keedy's wife Sarah Katherine "Sadie" Bowers was my great aunt and a sister to my great grandfather Samuel Aquilla Bowers who is also buried at Green Hill Cemetery in Martinsburg, Berkeley Co., WV. Many of my Bowers family are interred there including Samuel's wife's (Anna Mary "Mollie" Mossburg)family - the Mossburgs.
In the same general area near Samuel & Anna Mary (actually shown as Mary A. Bowers on the tombstone) are Anna Mary's sister & spouse, Virginia E. "Jennie" Mossburg and husband William Henry Virts.

The marker we found for Eugenia with the Rowland name on it was at the family marker (the one with her mother and siblings names on it).

You are most welcome, I try to edit or add to any information I see posted so that others will have access to it & be able to share.
|Harold G. Richards||Richards Connection|
No, those Richards are not a part of my line. Nice of your to take the time to look them up, though. YOu never know what connection may turn up. harold
|Harold G. Richards||Arena|
Arena and her husband are buried in the Jones family cemetery. Watemon Jones was the son of Robert Augustus Core Jones and Susannah Richards, one of my Richards family members. I just wanted to document all the burials in the Jones cemetery. They were no doubt friends.
|Dee E||RE: Jessie Cost Davis|
I'm not sure where I came up with her middle initial. The original burial info was in the book "Washington Co, MD Cemetery Records" & reads, Jessie Cost, wife of Henry M. Davis, 1874-1934. I wish I could be more help. It is confusing! Dee
