Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am originally from Baldwinsville, NY and moved to the Orwell area in 1965 with my parents. I moved from Orwell to Pulaski in 2006. In Sept. 2010, I moved from Pulaski to New Haven.
My friend Cheryl House asked me one day to help her find some graves in an area cemetary and that started the fun of helping her. Now I am, hopefully, going to help others who request help on Find A Grave. I have been active for over 25 years, but now retired, from Orwell F.D. and 20 years with Northern Oswego County (NOCA) Ambulance. It was a great deal of pride and accomplishment to provide a needed service to my community through these two great services. If any one has a request please feel free to e-mail me at hollyberry13144@yahoo.com.

Thanks Dawn,
Gilbert's wife Charlotte has a sister named Susan who married Jerome DeRosia. Jerome's grandson Myron was my mothers first husband.

Thanks,
Pete

RE: Barrett graves in Oakwood
Dawn -

I plan on going over to the cemetery in the spring and will be able to locate the plots (hopefully) - I have a map of the section I can share with you.

Do you want me to transfer these 4 memorials over to you?

Barretts in Oakwood Cemetery (Syracuse NY)
Hi Dawn -

I'm entering records for Oakwood Cemetery (Syracuse NY) - and came across 4 people from your family. I've linked the first 3 into your family - but the final person (Stella) - not sure where she goes. The 2 infant girls are buried in the same grave as Stella and Elizabeth is right next to them.

Let me know if you'd like me to transfer them over to you.

Tom

Larkin's
I am trying to locate Gilbert Larkin's (son of Samuel C. Larkin) final resting spot, he passed in 1915 and I have his obit but it does not list internment information. His second wife Lottie Cheever passed in 1919 and from her obituary she was interred in New Haven Cemetery. Lottie's parents, siblings and children are interred in New Haven as well. Gilbert's first wife Mina Eason passed in 1871 and her final resting place is unknown. When you look at the photo of Green Larkin's monument, to the left is a monument for Eason. I was wondering if you have ever been to Mexico Village cemetery and if you have did you happen to notice if Mina Larkin might have been in that Eason plot? Mina's parents were Seth and Roseann.

Lottie would be my mother's grand aunt.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

RE: Greene Larkin
You're welcome! :) I did see several other Larkins in the same cemetery - next time I am in Mexico I will try to get pics of them as well. This is a very pretty cemetery - well maintained and with some huge trees - it is a peaceful place to visit.

RE: re: David Bliss
Dear Dawn,

Thank you so much! My son and I are traveling to the area (from California) next month and would love to be able to lay flowers on his grave while we're there. Thank you for any help you can provide in making that possible for us.

Warmly,
Kristin
