Yes, Betty, I am interested in the Jones family. My husband and I both have Jones' in our family history. Mine is Nathaniel Perkins Jones, father of Lucy Jones Carter Gist.

George's mother
Betty, do you have any info on his mother Priscilla Linton Neeland? Maria (Mariah) married into my family and we can't seem to find any info prior to her marrying John Robert Neeland.
Thank you

Flood Family - Illinois
Hi - I came across your note and bio while searching through the memorial pages for "Flood". I came across Joshua Flood #102468681 and from his birth year he must have been one of the first Flood family members to settle in the US. I think I figured out that he has the oldest birth year of the Floods that are listed in Find a Grave. My Flood Family connection begins with Michoel Flood #32224863 and his wife Mariah Martin Flood #32219046 - both buried in the Scared Heart Catholic Cemetery in Livingston County, IL. I understand that Michoel was born in Meath County, Ireland and came to the US in approx. 1853. While I haven't completed / confirmed all of our research, it seems that Michoel may have come to the US with a brother James. Mariah came from Neary, Ireland - perhaps separately because her name isn't listed with the Flood brothers. I was wondering if the Flood family you are related to came from Ireland & if came from Ireland, we wondered what county / location? We are in the process of trying to determine the family connections from Ireland and if they knew anyone in the US before making the journey. Would love to compare notes . . . My wife and I can be contact at Thx!
