"What good is genealogy if it isn't freely shared?"|
This is my lifetime indoor sport. You are invited to visit my home page. Additions, corrections, and constructive comments are always welcome.
William and Frances O'Daniel of Stafford County, Province of Virginia, are my fifth great-grandparents. In the early 1700s, they lived on Accotink Creek in that part of Stafford which became Prince William and then Fairfax County in 1741.
Brick wall: Who were his parents? What was his wife's maiden name?
I have been proactively researching my family's paternal and maternal family lines for over 15 years. Family lines include O'Daniel, Daniell, Daniel, Daniels, Baker, Burgess, Butts, Cannon, Casady, Clements, Cook, Cooke, Ditmore, Herlihy, Pearson, Raiford, Rice, Rowan, Swanson, and many more.
I will happily transfer memorials to direct line descendants or to family members more closely related to individuals than I am. Edits and additions to memorials are appreciated.

Hi again, I just got through listing all the Daniel names at Oakland - saw that on your direct lines - thought you might want to look and see if any are yours.

Glad I could help - that is what this is all about. Let me know if I can help more. Like for family members to maintain their loved ones memorials and update them - that is my purpose.

You're welcome, and transfer done.
|Pat||Julia Holmes / Bedford Union|
Have made changes and transferred the memorial to you.
I've been working on trying to photograph all the graves at Bedford Union, but won't be able to re-start for a few weeks due to snow and the inevitable mud of March. Will try to take new photos when I go over there. A lot of the headstones in that particular area of the cemetery have lichen growth, as it's shaded and doesn't get much direct sun.
Glad you found your relative!

I had noticed that you had left a message on some of the Watson descendant's graves that are buried at Myrtle Hill. Are you related? I too, am a cousin of theirs. Would like to hear from you.
|Mary Enzor Smith||Henry Lee Hattemer|
Robert, I have added the obituary for Henry Hattemer. I always like adding obituaries to a memorial because of all the good information provided in them for anyone researching the family.
|Mary Enzor Smith||Henry Hattemer|
Robert, Thanks for all the additional information on Henry. It has all been added.
